The iPod may have debuted seven years ago and its sales may be maturing, but there’s no sign Apple is about to relinquish its industry lead. Apple has effectively cut the price on its iPod lines, except for the low-end shuffle, by reducing the amount you have to pay for storage. The 16-gigabyte and 32-gigabyte models of the iPod touch have dropped in price by $100 each. One new feature on all the new iPods, except the shuffle, is called Genius.

Written by Kyle Buckley I was able to test the new iPod Nano for a few days and have posted a full review in our Reviews section of Nillabyte.com. Overall, I was very impress with the new iPod, but there is nothing revolutionary that justifies getting rid of your old iPod—wait until you need a new replacement. Most of the new features are indeed very cool, handy, and seductive, but they are not life changing.

The American Foundation for the Blind has praised Apple for including features on the latest version of iTunes and the latest iPod Nano that make them easier for the blind or visually impaired to use. The agreement also covers additional features.

O’Grady has heard that the new MacBook Pros will retain its more traditional boxy-look and not adopt the tapered edge design of the MacBook Air. We’re not sure if that completely correlates with the previously leaked MacBook Pro image that does seem to depict a tapered edge. O’Grady also believes the new MacBook Pro will be thinner and “as much as a half-inch narrower” than existing models. The space savings will reportedly come from a smaller bezel (border) around the screen.

Are Mac Pro Cases Toxic?

Translating from the language of lose to the language of guns, soccer moms and hot dogs results in a bit of discombobulation, but the gist is that a CNRS lab researcher got a Mac Pro, and after his eyes and respiratory tract were repeatedly agitated by a “stench,” decided to break down the noxious vapor coming off the Mac Pro.
