Apple Set To Unveil Updated Line Of MacBook Notebooks

October 10, 2008 Washington (dbTechno) - Apple fans are eagerly awaiting what the company has in store for next week.” Apple has announced that they are going to hold a media event next Thursday to unveil an updated line of MacBook notebooks. Though Apple has yet to officially confirm that they are going to be showing off the next-generation MacBook notebooks, it is pretty obvious.

The tagline for this big media event set to take place next Thusday in Cupertino, CA is The spotlight turns to notebooks. This makes it pretty clear that Apple is going to be making some big announcements in regards to their notebooks. Apple has extended invites to many big names in the press industry, including CNET and others. The first big announcement expected is the new casing for the MacBook notebooks, as they will ship in a single piece of aluminum making them lighter, and sturdier.

On top of that, it is also believed that one may ship out with a touch-screen similar to the iPhone or iPod Touch.
