Read Full Story I ve used Fingerworks products in the past, and you d be surprised how easy it is to get used to some of these gestures. For example, pinching your thumb and middle finger together is a cut. Flicking the fingers apart, reversing the gesture, is paste. Tapping the thumb and middle finger without any additional movement is copy. To quit an application, use all fingers except your index finger, and rotate clockwise, like you re starting to unscrew a lid off a jar of pickles.
If you use OS X, you can easily map gestures to useful features, like ExposГ©. Here s my setup: A quick five-finger tap (a quick and natural gesture) exposes the desktop. A four-finger tap (no thumb) exposes all windows. If you do the four-finger tap with your fingers spread, it exposes the windows of the current application. Try out a few of these gestures on a table surface. It s really not that difficult. I m waiting for Apple to release a USB touch pad like Fingerworks iGesture pad.
It s about the same size as a mouse pad, and very responsive.
