Apple

I first heard the rumor about a new iPhone on the morning news. Then I found out, it was all over the Internet. Then a colleague sent me an e-mail on the same thing. All of that was enough to get me excited, since my current cell phone service contract has finally run out. What started all this was when an AT&T CEO blurted out a statement at a meeting that circled the globe.

He simply said, “You’ll have it next year” and was referring to a new 3G iPhone, which would be much faster than the current model. His statement only raises more questions. At what point next year? What other new features would it have? And how much would it cost? The other problem is this was AT&T talking and not Apple. The Apple gang in Curpentino, Calif., might have something else in mind. We still have few weeks left before Christmas. That’s plenty of time to update the Apple online store.
