Big is not always better, and this holds especially true for ImageWell. The photo editing application has won accolades from both critics and Mac users; its strengths lies in its simplicity and intuitive interface. Many of us have bypassed Photoshop in favor of ImageWell when it comes to dealing with simple imaging tasks. Free and fully functional, I think ImageWell might even qualify as a must have Mac application. What s more, Leopard users can now be privy to its goodness.
ImageWell 3.3 is now available for free, and like its predecessors, this nifty little application can edit, rotate, crop and resize your image or screenshot and upload it to your iDisk (.Mac account), FTP, WebDAV server or Flickr, SmugMug or ImageShack account. It also has support for Apple s iLife 08. Apart from Leopard compatibility, Version 3.3 also includes Save Draw Objects as a favourite feature, and now can check for updates automatically.
If you are an ardent fan of ImageWell, then we suggest shelling out 20 bucks and unlocking all the extra features like Batch Image Processing, Multiple Images on the Canvas, Templates and Custom Canvas Sizing. We tested out the latest version and were happy to report that its stable and works like a charm. Download the latest version of ImageWell today.
