Not surprisingly, Safari also saw a decline from last month, and again, one could argue this is circumstantial evidence of PPC users transitioning to Intel. Net Applications had some problems displaying the data on its website, but it sure looks like there was a big drop in people using Safari 1 and Safari 2. Users of those browsers would have been far more likely to be using a PPC Mac, at least one would hope so… running Leopard and Safari 3 on a G3 *shudder*.

For example, pinching your thumb and middle finger together is a cut. Flicking the fingers apart, reversing the gesture, is paste. Tapping the thumb and middle finger without any additional movement is copy. To quit an application, use all fingers except your index finger, and rotate clockwise, like you re starting to unscrew a lid off a jar of pickles.

For the most part, iCal Server is easy to set up. The only big problem we had was trying to get delegation - which enables users to access and edit each others’ calendars - to work. The update, which is available from UK distributor Positive Focus, is free of charge to Switch 07 users, while prices range from 585 to 3,900 excluding VAT for new customers. Annual maintenance is 20% of software cost, payable from installation.
