The HTC branded phone which will appear at T-Mobile stores in October has been lauded for its neat interface but is not being regarded as groundbreaking as the Apple iPhone, the nearest competitor. At its unveiling today, the GPhone was greeded by a “warm, if not entirely enthusiastic crowd” in Manhattan, according to Lance Ulanoff of PC Magazine. “It feels and looks plastic and clunky,” says Murad Ahmed of TimesOnline.
Apple Inc . has announced it will open its third Oahu store at the newly renovated Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki on Saturday. The new, two-level store is in Building C at the center at 2301 Kalakaua Ave., just a few doors away from the Cheesecake Factor y. Apple’s two other stores are at Ala Moana Center and Kahala Mall. Construction workers were putting the finishing touches on the store yesterday afternoon from behind a temporary black wall.
