I can’t believe it took this long. Apple has tired of the mini and is finally signaling its death knell. Not a surprise, since Apple only made the computer basically to market to switchers (ergo the lack of keyboard and mouse). And since they have enough switchers, they have no need to stay in the sub-1000 market for anything. Maybe this is going to lead to Apple making a real low-cost computer (you know, one that has a slot or two, can accept extra hard drives, is customizable)? Nah.

Only one thing has changed this year in the iPod touch version: the prior brightness sensor hole on the front of the case has been eliminated, a change that we actually prefer given that it helps the iPod avoid that much more sweat or moisture intrusion, and doesn t seriously impact use of the device inside.

As is typical of Incase s designs, both of the armbands are visually attractive. The iPod touch version is available in black only, with a dark gray soft plastic frame around the touch s face, while the iPod nano Sports Armband is sold in both black and blue/gray versions. Each has the Incase name on the front, a subtle Incase leaf icon frosted into the clear plastic face protectors, and another leaf on the neoprene armband.
Founded in December 2002, Luxpro launched its first MP3 player in 2004. A “Super Shuffle” was showcased in Germany at the March 2005 CeBIT trade show, which resulted in an injunction from Apple, through a German court, to prevent Luxpro from making, distributing or selling MP3 players. The injunction was ultimately reversed and upheld in Taiwan’s Supreme Court.

This is particularly useful for me whenever I use a rebreather apparatus and it will take me an hour or two to fully decompress before reaching the surface. Perfect for audiobooks while inching upwards the anchor-line. I’ve been waiting for H2OAudio to make a deep-dive case for the iPod since their iRiver version is all sold out even on eBay, and I couldn’t find the actual iRiver player for it, so I was SOL back then. Took the company long enough to do it though.
