The company has been accused most often of releasing an unfinished version just to get it on the shelves. This past month saw a release of the much anticipated Leopard Update 15.2.1, which fixed as many as 76 flaws in Leopard that were causing problems with everything from using the internet to seeing external drives and hearing your speakers.

By Chris Nicholls SYDNEY: Mobile phone accessory seller Cellnet has announced an $836,000 loss for the half to 31 December 2007, citing the loss of their Apple and HP distribution contracts as a major cause. The result is 129 per cent down on the previous year s half, and came after an eight per cent decline in overall sales to $244.3 million. In its statement to the ASX, Cellnet said the HP and Apple contracts represented 70 per cent of their loss for the half.

NEWS: 28 February 2008 17:54 GMT by Stuart Miles Apple has reaffirmed its commitment to selling 10m iPhones in its first year on sale as it moves to appeal to the business markets in competition with BlackBerry. The comments made by COO Tim Cook at a Goldman Sachs investment conference in the US come as the mobile phone maker also announced that it was launching the handset in Ireland on 14 March.

A founding creator in Apple Computer has vented his frustration at the company’s direction for technology implementation of the iPhone. Steve Wozniak, who in the mid-1970s helped to create the Apple I and Apple II, today made a fly-in visit to Sydney, where he made some blunt comments over Apple’s iPhone design and technology.
