ROCKFORD - Thursday is your last chance to nominate a teacher for the 2009 Golden Apple Teacher Award. All 6th through 12th grade teachers in Winnebago or Boone County are eligible to win the award. Apple’s event yesterday revolved around the notebook, and there seemed to be quite a bit going on, so here we have a live blog round-up of just what occurred. Apple’s big honcho Steve Jobs, did state that as soon as he took centre stage that the event would be all concentrating on the Apple notebook range.

Apparently following Comcast’s lead , Apple couldn’t wait to get started with the celebrating this morning, eagerly pointing out that it’s online store features primetime TV content from all four major networks (yep, NBC is back, in case you missed the news ) and can call itself the “most popular online TV store”.

Surprise! Apple has one more surprise up its sleeve this week, and it s not about notebooks. The company announced this morning that a number of networks have added HD content to iTunes, completing the circle of the four major networks here in the US offering HD TV downloads. ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC now all have primetime shows on iTunes in stunning HD, ranging from Grey s Anatomy to House to 30 Rock and more.

Last year, the new apple variety Kanzi has been introduced and this introduced has been a success. This is why the production of this year will be bigger than last year. The amount of Kanzi tress has increased up to 929.716. The second harvest of Kanzi started at September 18th in Belgium and at October 6th in The Netherlands. In The Netherlands, the first Kanzi of the new season was harvested by actrice Carice van Houten, who was starring next to Tom Cruise in the movie Valkyrie.
